This analytical solution allows the determination of Total Sulfur in Hydrocarbon matrix in a single analysis without sample preparation, also including the possibility of speciation of the present sulfur compounds. The system uses the GC-PFPD technique by using a specific system for the introduction of the gaseous or liquid sample from pressurized cylinders, a loops system which are used according to the concentration and type of the sample, a system of commutation valves, a specific column for Total Sulfur and a second column (optional) for speciation, all in an automated way and in the same analysis. The system allows the samples analysis from ppbv to high contents of ppmv.
