LC/MS Veterinary Drug Application Kits

The analysis of veterinary drug residues in food, environmental, and biological samples is challenging due to the large number of trace-level analytes to be identified and confirmed in complex matrices. Agilent LC/MS and LC/MS/MS Veterinary Drug Application Kits, including either an Accurate Mass Database, an Accurate Mass Database with Spectral Library, or a triggered MRM database and library, are ready to use and allow quick, efficient method development. The Accurate Mass database for the TOF or Q-TOF LC/MS, the Accurate Mass Database with Spectral Library for the Q-TOF LC/MS and the triggered MRM database and library for the Triple Quadrupole LC/MS contain veterinary drug compounds commonly monitored around the world and provide fast, customized method development of the compounds to be screened. The analysis methods provided in the application kits use the latest technologies to improve lab productivity.

  • The Veterinary Drug PCD Application Kit (G6856AA) for the Agilent LC TOF/Q-TOF contains an Accurate Mass Personal   Compound Database (PCD) with more than 1,000 veterinary drug and relevant pesticide compounds. The database provides component names, formulas, monoisotopic masses, CAS numbers, and chemical structure graphics.

  • The Veterinary Drug PCDL Application Kit (G3879AA) for the Agilent LC Q-TOF contains a 1,000-compound Accurate Mass Database, and  accurate mass MS/MS library spectra for more than 600 compounds. Using Q-TOF technology for screening of veterinary drug compounds allows you to retain all spectral data, not just the original mass range of interest. That means data can be re-interrogated anytime to investigate samples further without reinjection.

  • The Veterinary Drug tMRM Application Kit (G1735AA) for the Agilent Triple Quadrupole LC/MS contains a triggered MRM Database and library that contains up to ten transitions for more than 600 Veterinary Drugs. The database provides compound names and MRM transitions (including fragmentor and collision energy).  The spectral lookup library contains tMRM product ion reference spectra for more than 140 compounds.

  • Three LC columns are included in the application kits to validate the methods. A comprehensive Veterinary Drug test mix contains more than 140 veterinary drug compounds of interest.

  • A DVD with method and data files, application note and quick start guide enables a fast start up by providing analysis examples of veterinary drug screening using the database/library.
