Thermal Desorption
Thermal desorption technique is used for the volatile organic compounds analysis in gaseous samples. Samples in gas phase are collected in tubes with specific fillers depend the compounds we want to analyze. After, the desorption tubes are introduced into the thermal desorption equipment heating the tubes and releasing all present VOCs and SemiVOCs. These VOCs are re-concentrate on focusing traps incorporating in the equipment, once the traps are focused these are heated quickly releasing VOCs directly to the GC/MS injector. We provide thermal desorption systems that allow analysis of VOCs and SVOCs in samples captured in bags, canisters or environmental samples with direct feedback and online.
