27 Amino Acids in Plasma

Amino acids form an important class of biomolecules in the human body, which is involved in a variety of metabolic processes. The amino acid profile is therefore used to detect metabolic diseases but can also provide valuable information about the patient’s nutritional status or a specific organ function. The kit with order no. MS14000 enables the quantitative analysis of 27 amino acids from human plasma. The analytical procedure of the kit with order no. MS14000 is intended for the quantitative determination of amino acids from human plasma using HPLC coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Test results may be used to evaluate a (patho-)physiological status.
