Environmental

In Environmental Sector our Analytical Services department provides the possibility of a wide characterization of pollutant organic species: Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs and ozone precursors), Organic Nitrogen Compounds (amines, NOx, etc.), Organic Sulfur Compounds (H2S , COS, SO2, SF6, CS2, sulfides, mercaptans and Thiophenes), Inorganic Acids (HF, HCl, HBr, HNO3, HNO2, H2SO4), Volatile Organic Compounds Halogenated (Freons) and Greenhouse Gases or Greenhouse (N2O, CH4, CO2) present in Environmental Air and Emission Gases. Additionally, we determined contaminants organic species, such as emerging pollutants (brominated flame retardants, chloralkanes, polar pesticides, perfluorinated compounds, drugs, drugs of abuse, and the metabolites and/or degradation products of the above classes of substances) in Water samples from industrial plants, rivers and human consumption, such as Soil samples using various extraction and separation techniques.

For this we have a wide range of analytical methods developed properly in our testing laboratories where we use detection systems, some selective, which ones combined with gas chromatography provide a powerful tool for determining the varied composition of these matrices with an adequate specificity and sensitivity (GC-TCD, GC-FID, GC-PFPD, GC-SCD, GC-MSD, GC-ECD, GC-NCD, GC-HID, GC-PID, LC-MSD, LC -pad, LC-DAD, LC-ELSD, LC-Conductivity, etc).

Our technical department is also specialized in sampling, either from environmental air through specific pre-concentration tubes, like the soil and water samples. We provide a specialized service that includes proper sampling, processing and final analysis, as well the determination of in-situ parameters using sensors, analyzers and portable analytical equipment from the temperature measure, relative humidity, dew points till organic pollutant components in these matrices.
