TD Autosampler 7500S Stand-alone

CDS now offers the Model CDS-7500S Stand-Alone version of their popular Thermal Desorption Autosampler product line. The CDS-7500S is a 72 position TD autosampler with chemically inert sample pathways made of Sulfinert® tubing. It uses a reliable pick and place robotic arm to move the samples into the desorption interface and includes leak checking and an optional automated gas IS addition. But unlike many Thermal Desorption Autosamplers, the 7500S does not need a separate sample concentrator, saving money and valuable lab space. And like all of our Thermal Desorption products, there is no need for Peltier cooling or liquid cryogens. Our unique Desorb Pre-Heat function produces better chromatography without any of the hassle associated with Peltier devices or Liquid cryogens. Without relying on a Peltier, we can eliminate the expense of a separate cooling gas while providing a simpler, more reliable flow path with less moving parts. Ultimately, this leads to a more reliable instrument.

CDS Thermal Desorption Systems use narrow bore, ambient temperature focusing traps packed with multiple beds of adsorbent. And, when this is combined with CDS unique desorb “Pre-Heat” function, it provides a much more robust injection.

Benefits of the Pre-Heat function include:

• Better sample handling of wet samples

• Smaller instrument foot print then cold trapping technique

• Fewer moving parts increases reliability

 • Easier removal of focus trap compared with Peltier systems

• No added expenses for cryo liquids or cooling gases

• No Peltier
